Ack!

Thanks to the Manor House I am so running late tonight.

Hoped to at least do an Angel/Wes Edwardian dribble but no luck there. Tomorrow night is the potluck dinner so we'll see if I have time when I get home. Will be v. v. busy this weekend so no writing I'm afraid =/

Thanks to all those who replied to my rant/essay about why we shouldn't steal in fandom. I'm not ignoring you, I'm just too busy to sit down and do proper replies. I will try when I can though.

I have got to stop getting sucked in to cookbooks and the like before I go to bed. Er - not that I bought any new cookbooks last weekend. Ahem.

Busy day today. Potluck tonight, which will last a few hours. Then somewhere in there I've got to yoga and shower and get about a thousand different things done so I can meet up with a friend in the city tomorrow.

Been pondering the Angel and Wes Edwardian thing. I make no promises as doing so tends to kill my bunnies, but I may try to write it as a regular story (as opposed to dribbling it out). We'll see. Too busy and too tired to try writing it now. At best I might get a chance to try working on it next week. In the famous words of my parents, we'll see.

Now to eat lunch and get back to work.

I can't do that Friday Five about music because I like so much stuff I could never narrow it down.

That being said, I pondered the "songs that always make you happy" thing and thought that if nothing else there's one song that will always bring a smile to my face.

I shall now torment at least 2 people on my friends list by saying...

Home again

Back from potluck. Lasted much longer than I thought it would. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The first one I went to (over a year ago, easily) had a bit of a theme to it in terms of conversation and activity. This was a bit catch as catch can. Which is nice too, but I think right now I'm too tired and frazzled to really appreciate that sort of thing. Still, it was good to go and see everyone, even if I did get caught in pouring rain on the way.

Now I'm back home with tons of stuff left to do. Don't know how much time I'll be spending online, if any. Again the words for tonight are "We'll see."

Did various chores. Even managed to do yoga. Have now decided that the best cure for feeling frazzled is to just stop and relax and do things that don't have deadlines attached, so here's me taking a long, hot shower and then curling up in bed with a book.

Going to be v. busy this weekend with one thing and another so I probably won't see y'all until Sunday night (stupid QAF not being on.. grumble)

On the plus side, I'm taping the marathon of Manor House this weekend!! Woooo!!!
