New Kitty!
Feb. 22nd, 2003 03:07 pmI got a kitty!
She's 10 months old, black with medium-length hair. Very sweet. Not as chatty as Mac but she was perfectly fine to curl up in my arms and quietly purr when I met her.
Brought her home no problem. Let her and Mac look at each other while she was still in the carrier. Neither one of them freaked much. They just sat and stared and tried to figure out what's what.
She's now set up in the bathroom with her own food, water, litter and toys. She used the litter first off like a dainty little girl, then set about exploring the room by going away a few steps, coming back to me for a good skritch, then exploring, then coming back, etc.
I then let Mac snuggle up in bed with me while I napped and watched movies, so he knows that he hasn't been replaced in Mommy's heart.
Further bulletins as events warrent. =)
