Still alive

Seriously need to get used to how many Hollywood folks Elder Bro and Sis in law know. Met the location scout/manager/whatever for Six Feet Under today - he lives next door. Nice guy.

Also did a pilgrimage to the Hyperion. Angel does not live in a bad neighborhood, lemme tell ya. Assuming that they actually have the Hyperion on Wilshire and Norton on the show - never saw anything to confirm or deny that location in the canon.

If anyone's interested I could maybe do a small write up of what the area around the building is like. Of course I can't help but remember the old days of Dagger (catscradle and versailles_rose know what I'm talking about) where all of the fanfic authors randomly guessed at locations until some folks took a pilgrimage to New Orleans and set a few things right. Still - for the brief time I was there I'd be happy to do a report.

As always, just grabbing random moments of net access when I can. Email is a bit much but at least I can keep my toes in the water from time to time.

Elder Brother [returning from the gym and speaking truthfully]: Hey Kid Sis - you know that actress on Angel?

TBQ: Which one?

EB: The perky one?

TBQ: [thinking that could apply to either] Cordy or Fred? Charisma or Amy?

EB: The one that was there from the beginning.

TBQ: Ah. Charisma.

EB: Yeah. She was two stairmasters away from me.

EB: [clearly with a glint in his eye] Yeah, I went over and told her that I thought the show sucked.

TBQ: [knows he's probably taking the piss, but daring to hope anyway] Did you really? Did you really tell her that the show sucked? Because last season bit hard.

EB: Nah.

TBQ: Damn.

EB: But she was there.

TBQ: Whatever.
