Due to the fact that, unlike our friends inAmerica Jr Canada, we do not have a cool name for our dollars like "loonies" it has been decided (thank you ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
zyre) that our dollars shall now be known as "sacks" (in honor of Sacajawea, who appears on the one dollar coin - who is also, for the record, much cooler than a loon).
Examples of correct usage include:
"Can you believe it costs ten sacks to see a movie these days?"
"The job only pays eight sacks an hour but they said I'd get a raise in a month."
And, of course:
"Dude - I dropped a ton of sacks at Saks."
This new word is to take effect immediately. Please note for the record that, honestly, it's no stupider than "bling bling".
