thebratqueenRemember how I said I found out that if the sewer problem happened again I'd have to pay for it? Well I just reread the letter and noticed that even though it was delivered today, it was dated October 3, and the invoice attached to it is from September.
So either they don't care about the dates and just slipped this under everybody's door in response to today, or today is the "again" and I'm shit outta luck. And more specifically out a few hundred bucks, which as we all know I certainly have to spare.
ARGH.
Wrote a letter to the board explaining in VERY SMALL WORDS why I couldn't have caused either problem - pointing out, amongst other things, not even being IN MY APARTMENT FOR DAYS the FIRST time this happened kinda argues for me being innocent. We'll see how it goes.
