Interesting!
Herc is reporting that Simkins, the man pegged to replace Greenwalt on Angel, is yesterday's news. Out on his arse after 2 months. Herc also reports that it looks like Jeff Bell is next in line to the throne.
Veddy veddy interesting.
This is also interesting in light of rumors going around amongst the spoiler whores that Simkins was very anti-C/A. Nobody could confirm it but scuttlebutt seemed to be that he hated the ship with a passion and was trying to shove it into the background as much as possible. Which, given that C/A is also reported to be Joss's brain fart, could make sense on the firing for "creative differences".
If it's true I'm somewhat sad, but OTOH - Jeff! Oh yay! Please? Pretty please? He rocks so hard - a season helmed by him would be a wonderful thing indeed.
