I need a headdesk icon

You know, I feel for those who don't have enough money for their medical/dental care. I really do. But when you ask me "If I wait a year for this crown because I can't afford it right now, is that okay?" I have to tell you the truth which is that you run the risk of losing the tooth. Needling me about it, nudging me, and otherwise trying to pout isn't going to change the reality of that situation.

I'd love to wave a magic wand and fix your tooth for you but in the meanwhile yes, amazingly teeth that were broken/weak enough to need crowns are not going to get stronger if you go a year without doing anything to fix them. Yes, this totally sucks. Yes, I'm aware you can't afford it now. That would be why it sucks. But, again, the answer's not going to change just because you really really want me to tell you it's okay to do nothing.

Sigh.

I need a vacation. I may need to take a day off soon just so I don't start climbing belltowers.

In crafty news yes, I bought yarn. It will be for the scarf project after my current one. Yay for things that keep me sane (...or as close as I ever get).
